If all goes well, we can move into our addition next week. This whole week, we've been living without hot water and without a den, in transition before we move into our addition. The new water heater has been turned on, but it's still tied into the washing machine in such a way that cold water streams through our hot water tap. So, until they move the washing machine to the new room, we have, at best, warm water. A week is a long time without hot water. And our den has been temporarily moved into our frontroom and dining room. 5 people living in this tiny space is quite difficult. When we finally move into our addition, it'll feel like a castle. The bathroom is about 95% complete, and everything but the shower should be ready to use next week when we move in.
We're having a get together Sunday, the 16th, from 10-6. Stop by, see the new place, meet the new family member.

Here are some pictures from the first week of Megan's life. See the extended entry for links.
Preggo for the last time. This was about an hour before Megan was born.
Only a minute old. They placed her on my chest right after she was born and left here there for over an hour. We had to eventually call and ask them to come weigh and measure her.
Megan 2 hrs. old.
Back from her first bath. She's about 5 hours old.
Daddy gets to hold Megan after Mommy's been getting all the baby time.
Allison visits the hospital. She's excited about the baby, but seems to be more interested in running around the curtain.
Cameron is also very interested in the curtain. But he stops long enough to take a goofy picture.
Megan is almost nekkid! She has a very long torso, and long fingers and toes. Did I mention her big head? Big round head with no molding, born in 38 minutes? Can you say ouch?
I get to take a shower! Megan is dressed up for her hospital pictures.

Allison greets her little sister. Every time I change her diaper or feed her, Allison pulls up the stool for a better look.

Megan 4 days old. Already she's changing and growing out of her "just born" look.
