Today, Yoshi and I have been married 11 years.

There is no way I can express the love I have for my hubby. He is my best friend, a perfectly matched companion (often times because of how different we are), interesting, funny, a great dad, loving, smart, and...other stuff I can't say here.

This morning, as a gift, I gave him a Pokédex, and a the game Spoils. His gift to me is a night out tomorrow to an unknown destination. He says I should get dressed up a little. I can't wait!

Happy anniversary honey! 11 best years of my life, and getting better everyday.

Cameron turned 9 yesterday. We had a birthday weekend extravaganza!



We gave Cam a skateboard for his B-day Saturday morning.



For Cam's Bday, we invited his friend Calvin to Jumpin' Jammin'. Unfortunately, after being there for 10 minutes, the fire alarm went off and we had to evacuate. There was a gas leak. So they closed shop for the day to fix it. We ended up roaming the mall looking for things to do. We went on the carousel first. This is a pic of Cam and Calvin waiting for their turn on the teacup. That thing makes me ill watching it. All the kids love it.



Here they are. Excited to be ready to spin!



After roaming a bit, we went out for our traditional CPK b-day dinner. Here Cam, Cal and the other Cam are waiting for a table. After dinner, we went to Dave and Busters. Which is a Chuck E. Cheese for adults. Cam loved it.



Today (Sunday) Cam had his party. Here he is with the traditional Takahashi birthday Sundae.



Cam got a lot of great gifts. The pinball game was a hit right away.

We also had a few surprises at our party today. Grandma Susan brought her parents, Grandpa Mac and Grandma Marian for a surprise visit. Then, another surprise visit came from Louis, a friend of Yoshi's from high school who we haven't seen since his 10 year reunion and Cameron was just born. Well, it was a surprise for Yoshi. Not for me and Louis.



Oh, and here's a pic of Yoshi holding Mike and Heather's baby. Doesn't he just look like he wants another baby?

Here's some pics of what we've been up to:



The weekend that Disneyland opened the new pirate's lair island, we had to go check it out.



The wobbly bridge is still there. Pretty much everything that was there before is still there. Minus balance rock. Then, they added a bunch of pirate decor and activities.



Here, Megan is trying to pump water out of a sinking ship to reveal Davy Jones and his treasure.



In June, Cameron had his first guitar recital. He enjoyed played in front of the group, although he did have to wait a loooooong time for his turn. He was a trooper though. And sat with me and Yoshi while my mom took the girls to a park that was just outside.



In June we also went to the Disney picnic. Being that it was in June, it was a lot cooler that the years previous. The kids had a fun time.



Here's a pic of Cam trying to hit the bell. He did it! Allison and Meg both tried too.



The kids were hopping around on the horses. Yoshi was clowning around with them. Man, the kids love clowning around with Yosh.



We also went to the zoo in June. This is a picture of us having lunch.
